Indigo Bananas Fiery The Angels Fell & Maui Wowee (Maui SE)

Good afternoon all!  I know I already posted this morning but I couldn't wait to share these polishes with you - they are AMAZING!  Indigo Bananas is a great brand that has created some gorgeous polish!  I've reviewed some in the past and you can see those posts HERE and HERE.  You can follow Indigo Bananas on Facebook and Instagram (indigobananas).  Or you can just head straight to the shop and purchase some of these beauties!  Bottles range from $6.25 - $12 depending on the size and complexity of the polish.   The 2 I have to show you today are from the brand new Endless Summer August 2013 collection.  The set consists of 7 polishes total and they are all pretty darn fabulous!  So lets take a look-see at the 2 I had the pleasure to try out!

Fiery the Angels Fell is a real stunner!  Andrea, the mastermind behind Indigo Bananas, describes FTAF as "a strong coral red or raspberry red that shifts golden orange to lighter orange."  I love this color.  I really love these red-orange polishes, they are bright but not blinding and so rich!  It's such a Jen color.  The coppery gold shimmer plays very well with the red-orange-coral color.  The shift on FTAF was really strong and I was able to capture it in a few pictures!  Yay!  The formula on Fiery was amazing.  Nice and creamy, it was a breeze to apply.  I used 2 coats of Fiery and 1 layer of topcoat.

This loverly polish is Maui Wowee (aka Maui SE).  This baby really killed me...it's SO gorgeous.  Andrea describes this one as a "bright metallic aqua with sky blue, blue-purple (periwinkle-ish) shifts, and a linear holographic, metallic chrome finish." *that was me paraphrasing*  Phew, that's just alot of awesome.  I found myself staring at my nails to catch the shift, which was very noticeable.  The holo effect is very strong as well.  MW is basically the most awesome polish you could ever own...this is definitely one of my top 10 for 2013!  The formula was lovely and easy to work with.  The first coat was sheer and I ended up using 3 coats for full coverage.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.  The topcoat did not diminish the holo effect.
