Colors by Llarowe The Devil Wears Polish

Good morning!  Ok now that Thanksgiving is behind us I can start posting holiday polish.  Not that I have an over abundance of holiday themed polish right now but I'm sure I can rustle something up...like in my humongo pile of untrieds!  I might as well start with one of the best reds I've ever put on my nails!  This beauty is The Devil Wears Polish by Colors by Llarowe.  CbL has some amazing polish, I adore the holos and have tried and liked the few shimmers and jellies I've tried.  This is the first crelly I have put on by this brand and I am seriously in lust with it.  Before I jump into the details here is the info you need to purchase Colors by Llarowe and follow Llarowe on social media sites:  website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.

The Devil Wears Polish is amazing.  That should be enough said, but I'm wordy so I will say more.  It has a stellar crelly formula that applied like a dream.  It was smooth flowing and covered amazingly in 2 coats.  Really it applied itself...I sat back and watched with my jaw on the floor.   TDWP is loaded with red holo sparkle and a sparse smattering of iridescent purple sparkles.  It is SO sparkly and blingy, my pictures only show the blowy effect.  Trust me when I say this is a very distracting polish.  TDWP is topcoat hungry, I noticed a slight textured feel on my nails after the 1st layer of topcoat dried so I applied a 2nd coat.  The topcoat also helps keep TDWP super glossy and shiny.  This polish is no longer available on Llarowe but there are so many other Colors by Llarowe I am certain you will find something you love.  *These pictures were taken indoors.

Enchanted Polish Autumn

Good morning dears!  Hope you enjoyed your day yesterday.  Did any of you get up uber early to go Black Friday shopping?  I don't even know what I'm planning to buy this year so I haven't started yet.    Well with all the eating and lazing about I took it easy and decided to throw up antoher quick post.  Hope you don't mind!  I snagged this beauty from the October Enchanted Polish restock.  You can purchase Enchanted Polish from the site.  Defiintely sign up for the newsletter to be notified when restocks are scheduled.  You can follow EP on Facebook and Instagram for sneak peeks of up and coming colors!

Autumn is a beautiful fall colored polish.  It literally has all the colors that remind me of fall in this one polish!  Burgundy, gold, brown, green.  It has a lovely holo effect and a duo-chrome finish.  Application and formula were both great, no issues to bring up.  I used 3 thin layers for full coverage and 1 layer of topcoat.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you are all enjoying time with family and over eating and drinking to your hearts content.  I have plans to spend the afternoon over at my Grandparents house this year and look forward to all the yummy food that will be there.  I will keep this post brief so you don't spend too much time on the computer and have more time with your loved ones.

My quickie Thanksgiving mani turned out pretty well.  I love these metallic and shimmery colors together.  I have Nanacoco Irresistible Charm, a metallic red on my thumb and index nails.  It's a gorgeous and opaque color - 1 coat!  a-England Holy Grail (new version) is on my middle finger.  I used 2 coats of this gold toned polish.  I drew chevrons over Holy Grail with Irresistible Charm and 6Harts Bat Crap Crazy.  I also have Bat Crap Crazy on my ring and pinky nails.  I used 2 coats for a nice richness.  I adore this brown by the way.  I topped my ring and pinky nails with 2 coats of Red Dog Designs My Funny Valentine, a pretty glitter blend of red holo hearts, red and gold circles and hexs and small black glitters.  I finished it all off with a layer of topcoat.

Colors by Llarowe: Jelly Finish Lineup

Howdy, hope your day is going well!  I have a lot of jellies from Colors by Llarowe to show you today.  They are each very pretty and true to jelly form - sheer and squishy.  Only 1 of the group I have in this post built up to opacity on it's own.  I don't really mind visible nail line, but if you do these probably aren't for you.  I'm not certain if all of these are currently available but you can purchases a large variety of Colors by Llarowe in an assortment of finishes on the Llarowe website.  You can follow Llarowe on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

*PRESS SAMPLE*

This is Yen, a hot pink jelly with iridescent flakies and shimmer.  The larger flakie pieces are sparse but the shimmer makes up for it.  I used 3 layers and no topcoat.  The jelly finish on this was lovely,  squishy and easy to use.

Evey Yen has a Yang.  Yang is a grape purple jelly with iridescent glitters.  The coverage on Yang was a little more opaque than Yen, but since it's a jelly it didn't build up to complete coverage.  I used 3 coats and no topcoat.

This blue jelly fellow is Paradise Found from the Beauty of Nature collection.  It's an "ocean blue jelly with sapphire sparkle and lilac sheen."  It's very lovely.  It had a really squishy formula and the shine is great.  The shimmer/sheen really stands out in this one.  I used 3 layers and no topcoat.

Montana Sky is another jelly from the Beauty of Nature collection.  It's a "royal blue jelly with blue shimmer and iridescent glitters."  I loved the deep blue color on this one.  The smattering of glitter and shimmer really make for a lovely combination.  This one had a nice formula and was one of the more opaque jellies of this bunch.  I used 2 layers and no topcoat.

And last but not least, my favorite of the polish in this post is Bluebonnets.  Bluebonnets is from the Deep in the Heart of Texas Collection.  I don't believe it's available any more but it was a limited edition charity polish to raise money for the victims of the tornado in Granbury in the Spring of this year.  It's described as a "deep royal blue jelly with pink shimmer and iridescent glitters."  Coverage and formula were both heat.  I used 2 layers and no topcoat.

Darling Diva Polish Diamond Collection

Good morning!  I have an amazing post to share today...it's full of holos!  But these are really cool - more like metallic-matte holos.  So they are very unique and different.  I am pretty smitten with them.  This is the Darling Diva Polish Diamond Collection.  Yesterday I showed you the Opal Collection and you can see it HERE.  I love the inspiration for this set, I mean really, what girl doesn't love diamonds and a little bling in their life.  Well now you can have bling on your nails too!  All of these holos can be a 1 coater, but for each one I used 2 thin coats.  I didn't use topcoat because I liked that they had a matte like finish.  I also included a shade picture for each color because you can really see how they look like metal in that lighting.  You can purchase DDP from Big Cartel or Etsy as well as Llarowe and Mei Mei's Signatures.  You can follow DDP on Facebook and Instagram (darlingdivapolish).

I started with Diamond.  This is a silver linear holo.  If you don't have a silver holo in your collection this is definitely a good one to start with!  It applied easily and the formula flowed nicely.

Chocolate Diamond might be my favorite.  I love the soft brown color and the linear holo effect.  The formula on this one was really lovely, nice and buttery.  It applied perfectly.

This is Black Diamond.  It's more of a soft black compared to some other black holos, but I think that's what makes it great!  The linear holo effect on Black Diamond seems to be the strongest out of the collection.  Formula and application were both great.

Green Diamond is a lime green based polish with holo effect.  This will be perfect for a lighter green take on a Christmas mani or for a pretty Spring mani!  Again, the formula was nice and buttery.  Easy to apply with no issues to report.

Blue Diamond is a bright blue, borderline neon blue linear holo.  I adore this color.  The brightness is refreshing but it still works for a wintry mani.  Can't you just pictures little snowflakes dancing on this background?  Just like the others, amazing formula and application.

Here we have Rose Diamond.  This is a stunning bright rose pink linear holo.  It has a gorgeous holo in the sun and is equally pretty in the shade.  Rose Diamond is a very feminine shade that will be perfect for any occasion!  The formula and application were both great.

Last but not least, Pink Diamond.  This dusty pink-mauve polish is another feminine shade that would work for many "party" and other scenarios.  It's classy but fun.  The application on this one was good.  I did notice it shows a couple ridges so you might want to buff your nails smooth prior to applying.  There is also a disclaimer for the formula on Pink Diamond and I found it to be true.  This one is a little stainey.  Please use a good base coat, a couple layers of base coat or a thin layer of a base color to protect your nails less you want them to turn hot pink.
