Sweet Heart Polish Valentines Day Trio: Love Speaks

Good morning fellow polish lovers.  You know it's almost time for another holiday - Valentine's Day! I hear more people than not (men and women alike) complain that they aren't fond of this "Hallmark"  holiday.  Well I am not one of them.  I love all the campy hearts and cupids and lovely dovey stuff.  It's so cute and makes me smile.  So yeah, while I agree that you should show affection and love all year long, I am totally on board for all the fun Valentine's Day themed things.  Including polish of course!  Today I have the upcoming Sweet Heart Polish Valentine's Day Trio, Love Speaks Collection.  This is a fantastic set of pinks in different finishes.  If you love pink you are going to love Love Speaks.  Love Speaks will be available separately and as a trio ($26) in full sized bottles AND as a trio in mini sized bottles ($16) on Saturday 1/17 at 9:00am PST.  Now let's check out these beautiful polishes!

Sweet Heart Polish: Shop, Facebook, Instagram

Up first is Te amo, a bubblegum pink creme polish.  This is such a classic shade of pink, and it's done perfectly.  The formula is nice and creamy.  This pink isn't chalky and applies very nicely with no issues to discuss.  I used 2 coats of Te amo for full coverage.  If you were looking for a fabulous pink creme look no further.  No topcoat.  As a side note, I totally dig how tan Te amo makes me look in indoor light, bonus!

Next up in the trio is Mi aime jou, a beautiful rosey pink with a soft linear effect.  this polish has such a glowing, ethereal quality to it.  Mi aime jou is delicate and feminine and perfectly romantic.  I see some gold shimmer and blue sparkles.  This one is a little bit sheer but it builds up great.  Formula and application were both great and easy to work with.  I used 4 coats of Mi aime jou for the outside pictures and 3 coats for indoor so you can see the difference.  No topcoat.

Rounding out the trio is Aloha Au Ia'oe, a shimmery magenta-hot pink with gold flakes (which were very hard to capture in the pictures) and blue and magenta shimmer.  I love the brightness of this one!  Aloha Au Ia'oe is one of those "look at me" colors that gets your fingers noticed!  Formula and application were both great!  3 coats are just perfect but I used 4 for my outside pictures.  My outside pictures have a "textured" look but it's just the flakes reflecting in the sun.  Aloha Au Ia'oe is perfectly smooth to the touch.  No topcoat.
