Parallax Polish Stat-ick-tics Collection

Afternoon y'all!  Hope you are enjoying your Friday evening!  I am going over to a friends house for a huge mom get together/jewelry party.  There will be wine and snacks and laughs and money spent.  After this week I could definitely use it.  Before I get myself all dolled up I wanted to share a new collection from Parallax Polish.  Due to a move and settling in to new jobs Parallax Polish has been quiet on the nail polish scene.  But I am happy to announce that she's back with gusto!  Stat-ick-tics was inspired by events that occurred in Erin's area of research (statistics) and the class she teaches.  Power, alpha and beta are all things her class deals with, including trials and errors to come up with the correct answers for research projects.  The new Stat-ick-tics Collection is pretty awesome and full of Fall perfection.  This collection will be available soon so keep your eyes open for an announcement on the Facebook page.  Now let's jump in and check out the polish!

Beta is a shimmery purple.  It's got a bit of a metallic/chrome look that I really like.  Definitely a perfect shade for the Fall and Winter.  The formula and application were both perfect.  I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.

Error In Your R is a shimmery evergreen.  Couldn't be more perfect for a Winter mani if I do say so myself!  Formula and application were both awesome.  I used 2 coats and topcoat for a topnotch mani.

Alpha is a vampy red with dark blue holographic glitter.  I love this shade, how the blue sparks show up against the base.  My only qualm would be that it dries a bit gritty and is super topcoat hungry.  Fear not, a good topcoat has your back!  I used 2 coats for full coverage and finished with 2 layers of topcoat.

Do I Have To? is a blingy silver scattered holo glitter bomb.  It's full coverage on it's own but you could probably brush one light coat over a base color for a "snowy" look.  My personal preference is the more bling the better.  But really, full coverage in 2 coats!  That's pretty awesome.  Formula was fantastic.  It applied easily and evenly.  I finished with a layer of topcoat, but another layer would have likely produced a smoother finish.

Last but not least is Power, a matte black with silver foil flecks.  It looks like stars in a pitch black sky.  Totally gorgeous.  Formula and application were both wonderful.  I used 1 coats and topcoat to finish.  *I didn't realize this was a matte when I was swatching it and immediately slapped topcoat on it.  I'll try to get a picture of it in matte state later.
