Skin Care Review; Wild Seeds Utility Cream

Evening dolls!  Sorry for the late post but I had to get out with the fam for a bit and now we are winding down. But I really wanted to get back online to share a post with you featuring natural skin care products that I have been enjoying for a few months now.  Wild Seeds Utility Cream is a small, family owned business that has a line of handmade products, created in beautiful Santa Cruz.  These products are all natural, pesticide and chemical free, and use high quality ingredients including (but not limited to) olive oil, shea butter and essential oils.  The balms feel luxurious, a little goes a long way, but I never feel "greasy" or "oily" just moisturized.  They absorb into my skin quickly also.  You can purchase Wild Seeds products with or without THC oil.  Wild Seeds ships anywhere in the USA, but will be limited to where they can send THC infused products (I believe they can only mail within California as of right now).  Please keep in mind all these products are for topical use only - do not consume them.  With that all said, if you are in the market for some all-natural skin/body balms I'd like to point you in the direction of Wild Seeds Utility Cream!  Let's jump in and we can delve into the products!

Let's start with Lemongrass (Utility) Cream.  This was the first product I tried and it had me hooked.  First of all the scent is bright and fresh, just enough, but not overpowering.  The scent does stay for a long time and I really like that.  Lemongrass is a great essential oil for your aches and pains.  It is an anti-inflammatory with anti fungal and antiseptic properties.  It can relieve muscle paining reduce fever.  It is also a natural insect repellent.  You also get a dose of Melaleuca essential oil to help cleanse and rejuvenate the skin.  I've been using this balm on my achey muscles after a tough workout and I always feel relief once it's absorbed in to my skin.  Not in the way that the pain is complete gone, but more so that it's manageable and I feel that I can move easily without wincing.  Wild Seeds reminds you to remember your feet!  Rub some of this on your soles at night for a little extra relaxation.

I have tried both versions of Lemongrass, with and without THC.  Both are great and if you're in CA you can choose either depending on your needs.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Melaleuca EO, Lemongrass EO

Shortly after I tried Lemongrass I decided I needed Clary Sage (Women's Blend).  I don't know about you but sometimes when it's just about that "time" I am pretty tender in my abdomen area.  Or achey in my lower back.  Que the Clary Sage!  The blend of EO's in Clary Sage help alleviate these ailments. Think, reduced cramping, sore back, restless nights.  I've put a pretty good dent in my jar because I find it quite relaxing to slather on.  Clary Sage is also a great balm for the libido as it is a natural aphrodisiac.  When I open the jar and take a whiff I mostly smell chamomile, then the peppermint.  It's a pretty intoxicating blend and I kinda want to smell like this all day.

Ingredients: Avocado oi, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Clary Sage EO, Peppermint EO, Roman Chamomile EO, Rosemary EO

Price: 1oz = $15, 2oz = $15

Head-To-Toe (Sun Recovery) is a balm created to help you recover from the harsh rays of the sun.  It's the perfect product for outdoor athletes that can get scorched or chapped.  The EO's in this blend help soothe sore muscles and sun damaged skin by replenishing moisture and cooling the skin. This one really smells like lavender and peppermint.  Just rub a little on and you'll be good as new in no time!

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Lavender EO, Peppermint EO, Frankincense EO

Price: 1oz = $15, 2oz = $30

Lavender (Hair + Skin) is the product I have been using the most lately.  My skin has been so dry this Winter that I look scaly!  Gross!  Lavender has saved me though....it's saved my kids too!  I slathered this on my arms and legs the other night and I had bright, healthy looking skin for the next 2 days!  My kiddos had wind-chapped cheeks and I rubbed a little of this on at bedtime, when they woke up the next morning - good as new!  I also know the lavender scent helps them get to sleep easier that night.  You can also massage some of this on your scalp to stimulate healthy hair growth and alleviate dandruff.  The EO blend in this balm create a natural insect repellent, her fade stretch marks, clear acne and reduce cellulite.  This is like a wonder balm!

Ingredients: Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Lavender EO, Rosemary EO, Thyme EO, Myrrh EO

Price: 1oz = $15, 2oz = $30

I'm excited to share the newest product with you!  Blue Tansy Lip Balm is a very nice, thick lip balm that keeps my lips hydrated for an unbelievably long time!  I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and my lips feel uber soft.  This product isn't even listed yet so I had to go hunting around for what Blue Tansy is used for.  And here's what I found; it uplifts your mood and is soothes the skin.  With the other THC infused products I can still smell the EO's, but the lip balm pretty much smells like TCH only.  I'm guessing Blue Tansy is a very light scent.  Wild Seeds has a other lip balms too (with or without THC).  They can pretty much make any of their EO's into a lipbalm so if you have a request just shoot them an email!

Ingredients: Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Blue Tansy EO, Clary Sage EO

Price: $7

All of the balms apply and feel the same so I only used one of them to show you.  The balm is soft enough that you can just press your finger in firmly and get a small amount on your fingers.  You might notice a few "clumps" but the oils and butters harden up a little in this cold weather.  Nothing to be worried about because as soon as it hits your skin it begins to melt and it rubs in easily.

After a full day of running errands in the freezing rain and cleaning the house my hands were feeling dry and chapped.  My knuckles are usually the worst, very dry and rough in the winter.  They needed this balm!  I put a small amount on my hand, and actually what I had on my fingers was a bit too much for just my hand, and rubbed it in.  You really want to work it in so it fully absorbs.

I immediately see and feel some relief to my hand!  It's moisturized, the skin feels smooth and supple.  And it's lightly scented with lavender.

So what do you think?  Would you give Wild Seeds Utility Cream a try?
